There is too much money in politics, and a school board race should not be one more place it piles up. I'm not accepting donations. Not from you, not from anyone.
If you were going to give, give to the Parent Advisory Council at the school nearest you. PACs fund the things budgets don't reach: library books, field trips, playground repairs, breakfast programs, music. Many issue tax receipts. And when you give, tell them Piers sent you. I'd like every PAC in the district to feel this campaign before the election is over.
School board elections are won on turnout, and turnout is won by people who hear about a candidate from someone they trust. If you've read this far and you're with me, pick five people in the district and send them this site. That is worth more than any cheque.
